This is the first doll series released to not actually commemorate a specific event.

It was announced on Feb 13 2015 the day before Valentine's day with the tag "love is an open door" indicating that it may be a release relating to Valentines.

Being the first doll based on Kristoff many people were hoping that he would be in his mountain man outfit but Disney decided to release him in his summer outfit that he wears at the end of the movie "Frozen" in order to match Anna.

Supporting a black vest with a blue long sleeve undershirt, black boots, pants and his sash, this is the first "Prince" doll to be featured not wearing royal or formal garments.

He is also accessoried with his lute, satchel and the medallion given to him by Anna and Elsa when they made him Arendelle's Official Ice Master and Deliverer.

Trivia:
Due to the timing of the release many people believed that the dolls would be released to commemorate the Frozen Fever in cinemas however this was obviously not the case and shocked quite a lot of people.

That being said many still believe that we may be getting Frozen dolls based on Frozen Fever before the end of the year.
